Estimates, not certified measurements

Speed, distance and time on this site are calculated from your device's GPS and are estimates. Accuracy depends on your device, satellite visibility, buildings, tunnels, weather and how you hold or mount the device. Readings can lag, jump or drop out. They are not certified, calibrated or legally admissible measurements.

Driving and road safety

Do not type, tap or look down at a phone while driving or riding. Set the speedometer up before you set off, mount the device securely without blocking your view, or let a passenger operate it. Always obey posted speed limits and your vehicle's own instruments. Never use this site to dispute a speeding ticket or to avoid enforcement.
